One of the most common concerns Ad Agency users have is regarding the size of their Ad Agency database. The database gets pretty big after a while because Ad Agency records many numbers:
- IP of the user
- Date
- Type: impression / click
- How many impressions/clicks per day of that user
So if a user visits the site every day for a month, the database will store 28-31 rows of that users, each containing the details mentioned above. This could lead to thousands and thousands of row and a bloated database.
On version 2.0.10 we've added a feature that allows you to compress the database so that instead of having thousands of records for each campaign, now there will only be 2: impressions and clicks.
This means you will lose some data, like IP addresses, data of the data collected, etc. But since the campaigns have expired, it won't be a huge lose.
We recommend that you compress your database once a week, to prevent huge database. To do that, follow the instructions in the illustration below.
